A total of 45 persons including a female have been arrested in connection with yesterday’s incidents at Mirihana.

One police bus, 1 police jeep, 2 Motor bikes burnt and one water cannon truck damaged during clashes.

Over 35 persons including 17 civilians, 17 security forces members and 3 journalist injured during the protests.
