OSHADA SENANAYAKE TO STAND BY HIS PRINCIPLES AND ETHOS TENDERS RESIGNATION AS CHAIRMAN OF ICTA

Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) Chairman Oshada Senanayake yesterday announced that he has tendered resignation from the post last week, citing he stands by his principles and ethos.

He apologised for not being able to contribute more, under circumstances which forced him to abide by his principles. Resignation from ICTA is following his stepping down from the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) Director-General last December, which would come into effect from end of the month.
