Remaining USD reserves just enough for a month’s imports
Sri Lanka foreign reserves have fallen from USD 2.3 billion to USD 1.9 billion within the last month, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
According to experts, this amount will be just enough to import goods for one month.
In addition, the value of the gold reserves also have fallen from USD 98 million to USD 29 million.
