SLPP parliamentarian Weerasumana Weerasinghe and SJB MP Manusha Nanayakkara have publicly expressed their support for the proposal to audit assets of all politicians and top government officials, starting from them.

In seperate Facebook posts, both MPs had urged to audit local and foreign assets of all past and present members of local government institutions, provincial councils and Parliament.

They further suggested to audit assets of heads of government corporations, departments and all top government officials. (NewsWire)
