MAHINDA REFUSES TO STEP DOWN WANTS TO BE PM IN AN INTERIM GOVERNMENT

Mahinda refuses to step down!

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has said that he is the Prime Minister of an interim government.

He has questioned as to how an interim government could be established in a situation where each one is against each other.

Mahinda Rajapaksa has said that only a handful of MPs who don’t know the history are asking for his removal while the majority of MPs are with him.

The Prime Minister said that he would once again invite the striking youth at the Galle Face Green in Colombo for talks, adding that if they do not attend, they would have to keep on protesting.

Rajapaksa admitted that the country is in a difficult situation, adding that the government has the ability to take the country out of this crisis.
