Will Anura Yapa or Dilan be deputy. Speaker?
Two names have been nominated for the post of Deputy Speaker, it is reported.
Accordingly, Anura Priyadharshana Yapa and Dilan Perera have been tipped for the post.
Although the current Deputy Speaker Ranjith Siyambalapitiya had submitted his resignation, it was not accepted by the President.
According to reports, this matter would be taken up in parliament on May 04.
Since more than one name has been proposed, the matter would have to be settled in a vote, Parliament sources say.
