IUSF protest tear gassed!
Police have used tear gas and water cannon to disperse a massive protest launched by the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) today (05).
Tear gas and water cannon were used as the protestors attempted to advance through a Barricade at Polduwa junction.
In addition to the protestors, civilians travelling through the area as well those at the Diyatha Uyana were affected with many forced to flee amid the heavy teargassing.
