Overseas travel ban on Cabraal, entended
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (05) extended the overseas travel ban imposed on former governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka – Ajith Nivard Cabraal.
Accordingly, the ban has been extended until May 23 and Cabraal has been issued notice to appear before courts on the same day.
The order was issued with regard to a petition filed by former governor – Keerthi Tennakoon, over allegations of financial fraud.
