Pvt. buses to strike from midnight
Private bus operators in Sri Lanka have decided to impose a 24-hour strike with effect from midnight today (05).
Chairman of All Ceylon Bus Owners Association Anjana Priyanjith has said that an island-wide bus strike will be in effect as a mark of support to the Sri Lankans who are engaging in protests.
In addition, the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association has also decided to step away from operating buses with effect from midnight today, said Gemunu Wijeratne, the Chairman of the association.
