Police issues death toll & damages ; more properties damaged
Police has issued details of deaths and damages to property following unrest reported last evening.
As of 6.00am today (10), eight deaths have been reported with 06 in the Western Province and 02 in the Southern Province, a statement issued by the Police media states.
In addition 47 vehicles and 38 houses have been torched while a further 41 vehicles and 65 houses have been damaged, it adds.
Malwana house set on fire
Meanwhile, the infamous house in Malwana, which was the centre of much controversy, had also been set on fire today (10) evening after being pelted by stones.
Later, the police STF was summoned.
