Obtaining gas through the police!
The distribution of Litro gas will be carried out through the police from tomorrow (13), according to Litro Gas sources.
As the first stage, 15,000 gas cylinders are scheduled to be distributed within the Colombo city limits tomorrow through the mediation of the police. The manner in which the gas would be distributed is said to be currently under discussion, the Litro official said.He further said that measures would be taken to transport the gas in lorries to play grounds in the relevant areas and distributed to consumers through the direct intervention of the police. He also noted that on previous occasions too gas had been distributed at public play grounds in the same manner.
