The Cabinet has decided to issue fuel to only essential services from midnight today (27) until 10th July, Government spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardane said.
He further added that schools in urban area will be remained closed until 10th July while schools in other areas will function as per the discretion of the respective Principals.
Minister Bandula Gunawardana also said that inter provincial buses will also most likely be suspended due to restricting fuel supply.
The minister also said that measures have been taken to supply Fuel and LP gas in an uninterrupted manner from the 10th of July.
