Authorities abandon search for jumbo in Jackson’s accident
Wildlife authorities have abandoned the search for the elephant involved in the accident of veteran actor – Jackson Anthony.
Wildlife DG M.G.C. Sooriyabandara has said that they abandoned the search after looking for the elephant in all the surrounding area and it was impractical to continue the search.
The elephant was last seen by eyewitnesses who had said that it had disappeared into the forest.
The accident had taken place on July 03.
