Complaint lodged against the police for harassing children
Ceylon Teachers’ Union (CTU) has today (10) lodged a complaint with the National Child Protection Authority calling for an investigation into the conduct of several police officers during a protest held at the Galle Face green the other dayThe complaint pointed out that the police officers’ conduct had harassed and frightened the children who were at the site.
Speaking to media, General Secretary of the CTU – Joseph Stalin said that a 16-year old boy and a young baby girl a year old had been harassed.
