Litro distribution as usual from today
Litro Gas said it will commence filling and distributing gas cylinders as usual from today.
Chairman of Litro Theshara Jayasinghe said that as the current stocks of gas is in compliance with the standards set by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution, distribution will commence.
The Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) has decided that the propane content of a domestic gas cylinder sold in Sri Lanka should be 30 percent and the Court of Appeal yesterday (17) directed Litro and Laugh Gas to take steps to only release domestic gas cylinders that are compliant with the SLSI standards.
