Senior DIG Ravi Seneviratne, who was remanded for driving under the influence of liquor and causing damage to two other vehicles, has been granted bail.

Mount Lavinia Additional Magistrate Sanjaya L.M. Wijesinghe has ordered to release him on a surety of Rs. 100,000 and a cash bail of Rs. 2,500.

Police informed the court that the investigations into the accident were completed and there were no objections to granting bail to the Senior DIG.
