The All-Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association has announced a price increase for various food items, including Kottu and fried rice, effective from midnight today.
The decision was announced at a press briefing held today, where Harshana Rukshan, the President of the Association, emphasized the need for this action in light of escalating prices of Gas and essential goods, such as sugar, rice, vegetables, onions, and chicken.
As a result, consumers can expect to see a Rs. 20 increase in the price of a packet of rice and curry. The cost of a packet of Kottu and fried rice will also rise by Rs. 20.
