President requests Vasu, Wimal & Udaya to resign?
President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has reportedly told media heads that it would be better for cabinet ministers Wimal Weerawansa, Vasudeva Nanayakkara and Udaya Gammanpila resign as they have violated their collective responsibility.
The President had said this while talking about the Yugadanavi pact during a meeting with the heads of media institutions earlier today (26).
The President had further pointed out that in the past, justice Mark Fernando had given a verdict against Lalith Athulathmudali and G.M. Premachandra for violating the collective responsibility as ministers during the era of the Premadasa regime.
