PB says he will not go back to work; Writes a book about the gang
DR Jayasundara says that after his retirement on January 31st from his post as the Secretary to the President, he will not accept any government position or advisory position.
Dr. Jayasundara further said that as he is not an unemployed graduate, he does not expect any government position.
He also said that after his retirement, he would write a book based on his career experiences.The initial chapters of that book have already been written. He noted that having held the highest posts in the governments of Presidents Chandrika Bandaranaike, Mahinda Rajapaksa and Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, he expects everyone’s support as he hopes to be free in the future.Jayasundara congratulated the new Secretary to the President Gamini Senarath and said that he was an experienced and capable officer ideally suited for this post.
Dr. Jayasundera has said that he is willing to provide any assistance required by the new Secretary to the President from outside as per his requirements.
