Dulanga Sampath crowned new ‘Derana Dream Star’ among more than one hundred thousands applicants
Dulanga Sampath has been crowned winner at the grand finale of Derana Dream Star Season 10 held on Saturday the January 15th.
Amidst grandiose festivities, the tenth season of Derana Dream Star was rounded off at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre.
Three contestants – The trio namely Anjali Methsara, Dulanga Sampath and Rajitha Bhanuka – vied for the grand prize of the final competition.
Following a hot contest, Dulanga carried the day, as Anjali bagged the first runner-up title. Meanwhile, Rajitha was adjudged the second runner-up.All 16 finalists received trophies and awards.While the runners up too received derana dream star trophies along with handsome cash awards…Dulanga Sampath hailing from a destitute family in a remote village in Central province received a million 250 worth an apartment.
