Postal voting ends today
Today marks the final day for postal voting for the 2024 Presidential Election for those who could not vote between September 4 and 6.
The Election Commission designated September 11 and 12 as additional days for postal voters to cast their votes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their District Election Offices.
Voters must present proof of identity, which can include a National Identity Card, valid Driving Licence, valid Passport, or a Temporary Identity Card issued by the Elections Commission.
If an official ID is used, the supervising officer will verify the voter’s identity. Those unable to prove their identity will not be allowed to mark their ballot.
