Nanayakkara also spoke about his achievements as minister, noting that his ministry successfully generated over $13 billion in foreign employment income for the country over two years.
He dismissed claims in the media regarding his alleged involvement in the scandal and clarified these allegations were baseless. He made these remarks while speaking at the United National Party headquarters.
