President AKD to meet Chinese President & PM
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sri Lanka has stated that Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayaka will hold talks Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Zhao Leji, during his state visit to China next week.
President Disanayaka will visit the People’s Republic of China from Jan. 14 -17, 2025 at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.
During the visit, President Disanayaka will hold bilateral discussions with President Xi Jinping on a range of areas of mutual interest and will also meet Chinese Premier Li Qiang and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Zhao Leji, the MFA says, adding, the visit will further strengthen the longstanding ties between the two countries.
