Railway fares to be upped as well!
Soon after Cabinet approval was granted to increase bus fares by 15%, the government is also planning to increase train fares as well.
This was revealed by Transport minister – Dilum Amunugama, at today’s (15) media briefing.
The minister said that a train fare hike, at least on a minimum level, had received Cabinet approval yesterday.
