Cabraal prevented from going overseas
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has issued an order preventing former Central Bank Governor – Ajith Nivard Cabraal from leaving the country until April 18.
The order was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunuwela upon considering an application filed by former governor Keerthi Tennakooon.
The application charged Cabraal or abusing public funds during his tenure as the governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
