Justice Rajakaruna appointed Actg. President of Court of Appeal
Justice Sobhitha Rajakaruna has been appointed as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The swearing-in ceremony was held today (Aug. 16) at the President’s Office.
Justice Rajakaruna, steps into this role as Justice Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne, the current President of the Court of Appeal, is overseas and will serve in the position until Justice Karunaratne’s return.
