Police seeks actor for pimping out young actresses 
Police are searching for a teledrama actor who has risen to popularity over two dramas telecast on a private TV channel.
Officers of the Walana Anti-Corruption Unit have learnt of this actor while questioning a teledrama actress who was arrested from a brothel in the Minuwangoda area recently.
Police have also obtained a statement from the brothel manager and learnt that this actor brings in young actresses chosen to act in Teledramas, to this spot, and pimps them out with the assistance of the manager.Ironically, it is said that this actor usually portrays roles of policemen.
Although police officers had stormed the brothel one day, the suspect had fled in the dark as there had been a power cut in the area.
