Israel tourist sexually harassed at a spa
A man has been arrested by the Pottuvil police for sexually harassing a female Israel tourist at a spa in the ‘Ulla’ tourism region.
The suspect is identified as a one Chandimal (39), who is a resident of the Weligama area.
He is to be produced before courts today (31).

– Auto Diesel increased by Rs. 35/- to Rs. 341/-.

The Federation of National Organizations has handed over a letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs – Ali Sabry today (31), calling for action against the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka for flouting diplomatic protocols.
“The US Ambassador to Sri Lanka is strongly influencing internal affairs of the country. The political activities are carried out based on the US agenda,” Attorney Nuwan Ballantudawa from the Patriotic Nationalist Front has said.
He added that the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka had also met with the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, and other officials and given them directives.
“The Minister of Foreign Affairs has a responsibility to summon the Ambassador to the Ministry and advise her regarding her actions,” he added.
