A minor earth tremor of Magnitude 2.3 on the Richter scale was reported from Wellawaya around 3 am today, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said.

A minor earth tremor of Magnitude 3 on the Richter scale was reported yesteday also from the same area but no damages were reported.
