President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to address the United Nations later this month.

The 78th United Nations General Assembly will take place from the 18th of September to the 26th of September at the UN headquarters in New York.

According to the latest roster of Speakers released by the UN, President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to address the United Nations on the 21st of September.

During UNGA 78, world leaders, including young leaders, will discuss and debate how to confront the global polycrisis, and find strategies to accelerate action on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
