Chief prelates condemn attacks on peaceful protests
The Mahanayake Theros of the Siyam, Amarapura and Ramanna Nikayas have strongly condemned the violent attacks on peaceful protesters today (09).
In a joint statement, the chief prelates said the attack on peaceful protestors is a blow to democracy and humanity.
They also called on Sri Lanka Police and other agencies to strictly enforce the law against all those responsible.
