Johnston – Dan granted bail
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Parliamentarian Johnston Fernando has been granted bail in relation to the unrest reported in Colombo on the 9th of May and released on two surety bails amounting to Rs.10 million each.
The order was issued by Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage.
Meanwhile, six others including Dan Priyasad have been released on two surety bails amounting to Rs.1 million each.
The Colombo Fort Magistrate also released five other individuals on surety bails. The case is scheduled to be taken up again on the 6th of July.
