Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Momen has said Sri Lanka is given time until September to pay back the USD 200 million it borrowed from Bangladesh in 2021.

He said this is the final 6-month extension that can be given to settle the loan.

He said that Sri Lanka was thankful for the support extended by Bangladesh when it was going through a tough time.
