Several areas receive electricity; Engineers call off strike
Electricity supply to Anuradhapura – Habarana, Laxapana – Athurugiriya and Kotmale – Biyagama transmission lines has been restored, the CEB said.
They added that power supply to other areas would be restored within a few hours.
Meanwhile, the Electrical Engineers’ Union has decided to temporarily suspend its trade union action.
