CDA chairman resigns
Chairman of the Coconut Development Authority (CDA) Keerthi Sri Weerasinghe has resigned from his post, reports say.
A few days back, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa had decided to appoint a committee of three senior cabinet ministers to investigate the incident of assault on the Ragama medical students and the CDA chairman faced charges of providing vehicles for the attack.
