Puttalam Preferential votes announced
The National Peoples’ Power (NPP) has won six (06) seats in the Puttalam District under the Preferential voting system.
The preferential votes for the Puttalam District are as follows;

Chandana Abayarathna – 113,334 votes
Ajith Gihan – 58,183 votes
Gayan Janaka Kumara – 51,233 votes
Hiruni Wijesinghe – 44,057 votes
Anton Jayakody – 43,907 votes
M.J.M. Faisal – 42,939 votes
SJB -02 seats
Hector Appuhami – 25,755 votes
