CAA summons poultry & egg manufacturers
The Consumer Affairs Authority has summoned poultry and egg manufacturers to inquire in to the rapid rise of prices of chicken and eggs.
An egg is currently sold at between Rs.60-65 while a kilogram of chicken is sold at more than Rs.1,500.
