Saliya Wickramasuriya resigns as CPC and CPSTL chairman
Saliya Wickramasuriya has resigned from his position as the Chairman of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd. (CPSTL).
In his resignation to the Secretary to the Ministry of Power and Energy, Mr Wickramasuriya stated that he offers his resignation from the positions in order to give the new minister the freedom to appoint a board of his choice.
An energy industry specialist, Wickramasuriya had also previously served as the Chairman of the Board of the Petroleum Development Authority and as a member of the Colombo Port City Economic Commission.
