Red alert from the Government Medical Professionals Association 
The crisis in hospitals without drugs will intensify in the next two weeks, said the President of the Government Medical Professionals Association, Dr. Lakshman Edirisinghe during a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday (12).
They said that the shortage of surgical equipment, including essential medicines, is currently on the rise in hospitals and as a result, doctors have to work in a critical condition and the lives of patients are in grave danger.
