Three remanded over preparing false PCR test reports
The chief suspect in the incident in which a suspect was arrested at the Thelwatta Junction in Negombo on the 9th of February over preparing false PCR test reports has been arrested in Wellampitiya yesterday.Police said the 32-year-old is a resident of Wellampitiya.
A laptop used to compile the false PCR reports and three mobile phones was found in the suspect’s possession.
Investigations revealed several persons had left for overseas by presenting around 750 fake PCR reports compiled by the individual.
Meanwhile another suspect has been arrested in Nagoda in the Kalutara Police division in connection to the incident.
