Around 400,000 found in dead beggar’s pocket!
Around Rs. 400,000 has been found in the trouser pockets of a beggar who died while begging on the streets in Hakmana.
According to the police, the deceased beggar was identified as E.S. Wimaladasa, a 69-year-old from Kongala East.
The police said that the man had lived alone and there was no information regarding any relatives.
The police had checked the room he had been living in and had found the money in several secret pockets of a trouser found in the room.
