Debate on 22A postponed
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena today announced that party leaders have decided to postpone the debate on the draft bill of the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution to the next Parliament session.
Parliament is due to convene again on October 18.
The Parliamentary Business Committee had previously agreed to debate the 22nd Amendment today (06) and tomorrow.
