Duplicate Bandu acquitted from charges over imitating original Bandu
Colombo, Jan. 04 (Daily Mirror)- The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today acquitted Bindu Botalegama who is alleged to have duplicated the performances of veteran film actor Bandu Samarasinghe, from a case filed against him under the Intellectual Property Act.
The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) filed a charge sheet against the accused following a complaint by comedy film actor Bandu Samarasinghe.
Samarasinghe alleged that a person named Bindu Botalegama (Duplicate Bandu) had unauthorizedly duplicated his performances including his way of behavior and his voice in a manner of infringing his economic rights guaranteed under the Intellectual Property Act.
Counsel Harshika Samaranayake appeared for Bindu Botalegama.

Whether Bindu is imitating you or not you should understand both of you are clowns being the laughing stock of the public. Bandu to outsmart Bindu who has lost his teeth in front like you, make an appearance change like late Ronnny the Thattaya or Sergeant Nallathamby with more creativity and see the difference where no one can imitate!!!!!!!!!!
