Three from same family fatally struck by train
Three persons of the same family had died after they were run over by a train near the Rozella train station today (08).
The train – ‘Udarata Menike’ was plying between Colombo and Badulla.
The incident had taken place around 11.55am near the 103 1/2km post, which is a short distance from the Rozella station.
The deceased have been identified as the father, mother and son of the same family.
The remains have been taken to the Nawalapitiya hospital, reports say.
