Rotten eggs & chilli powder hurled at CMC member
Rotten eggs and chilli powder have been hurled at Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) member of the Colombo Municipal Council – Pradeep Jayawardena during a committee meeting held this morning (31).
A vote to elect a chairman for the environment committee of the CMC was held at the premises and the incident had taken place after the vote.
It is said a female SLFP member had been behind the attack.
