Nimal, Anura, Wimal, Udaya, Tiran undertake task of forming government!
Five members representing 11 parties have been nominated to take forward the process of forming an all-party government.
This is for the purpose of discussing it with the other political parties.
Accordingly, five members have been selected from the independent group.
Nimal Siripala de Silva, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Wimal Weerawansa, Udaya Gammanpila and Tiran Alles have been nominated.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and former President Maithripala Sirisena said that the Prime Minister and Cabinet of the new interim government to be formed in the future will be elected by a National Assembly consisting of leaders of all parties.
