22 arrested for flouting election laws
Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa has said that 22 individuals who had flouted election laws had been arrested so far.
Speaking in a press conference yesterday (Sep. 04), he also reported that the police have seized 4 vehicles in connection with these activities.
So far, 119 complaints related to election law violations and 54 complaints related to acts of violence have been reported while 22 persons have been arrested and 4 vehicles have been seized, DIG Thalduwa said.
