IUSF Convener arrested
Convenor of the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) – Madushan Chandrajith and several others were taken into police custody during a protest near the Colombo Fort Railway Station, reports say.
They had been protesting against the current national education policy framework and against the introduction of private medical colleges.
