Welikada Prison riots : Lamahewa sentenced to death
Former Prison Superintendent Emil Ranjan Lamahewa has been sentenced to death over the 2012 Welikada Prison riots.
The verdict of the case filed over the Welikada Prison clashes in 2012 was delivered a short while ago by the Colombo High Court Trial-at-Bar.
