The National Election Commission of Sri Lanka has introduced a new web portal for citizens to obtain information about the candidates contesting for the upcoming Local Government Elections.

According to the Commission, the Local Government polls will be held on the 09th of March 2023.The new web portal allows the public to obtain information on the list of candidates of a particular political party/Independent Group in a local council who are contesting the elections.
